‘Talanoa’ is a term we are adapting from our Pacific neighbours. It means a conversation that involves: Love (Ofa), Respect (Faka’apa’apa), Humour (Malie) and Warmth (Mafana.)
The Talanoa is an opportunity for you (as parents and whanau) to discuss with your child’s teacher how they have settled in this year, coped with covid disruptions and anything else that might be ‘on top’ for you at this point of the year.
How to book your Talanoa Conversation with your child’s teacher.
- Go to www.schoolinterviews.co.nz
- Enter code gfs6u
- You will be asked to enter your email, name and child’s name.
- Select your child’s teacher and book a preferred time slot.
- You will receive an email notification confirming your booking.
No computer access at home? Please come to the office (or phone) and we will help you make your booking.
If there are no time slots available that suit. Please contact your child’s class teacher directly to make alternative arrangements.
**Bookings close at 4pm on Monday 22 March**
(After this time, you will need to book a time through the office)
We are looking forward to having a conversation with you about your child.
Information displays on Thursday: Visit the hall to look at our information stands on the extra opportunities we provide for many students at Tirimoana School.
There will be a sausage sizzle and an ice cream van at school on Thursday evening.
