Save Petrol and Walk to School

Every Wednesday we encourage children to walk to school. This is becoming increasingly popular even on other days expecially with the rise in the cost of petrol.

Even if you live a distance from school and come to school by car it would be really good if you were dropped off at the top of Kokiri or Divich and walked the rest of the way.

We encourage children to walk by writing numbers on hands as children enter the gates of the school. Lucky numbers are drawn at the end of the day for prizes.

We now have our Walking School Bus up and running. If you are interested in participating in this worthwhile exercise just give Jenny a call in the office to check on our routes.
