World Environment Day 2010

World Environment Day is a global initiative in partnership with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). It is celebrated on the 5th June every year. This year the theme for World Environment Day 2010 is 'Many Species, One Planet, One Future'. and focuses on those 17,000 species in our world threatened by extinction.

We celebrated this event in 2009 with a special assembly and we also planted 28 new native trees.
