Enviro News

Tirimoana is now a Green Gold School.  Environmental Education, although not a separate learning area in our New Zealand Curriculum, is a real, integrated and fundamental part of educational programmes at our school.

Mrs Louise Graham is our school mentor and leader in Environmental Education. She was nominated in 2009 for the Auckland Regional Council Sustainable Environment Awards. Louise won the individual category award. She received her award at a ceremony in Auckland on 25 February 2010.

We are very proud of Louise and her achievement. An important leader in our school Louise continues to inspire our staff and students.
