Maori Television visit 2010

On Thursday the 22nd of July, a group of senior school students went on a trip to Maori television. We were greeted at the door and then taken through their facilities and shown a range of areas where they film, edit, mix and create a range of Te Reo based programs. The students all had a great time. We were told at the door that today was a very special day because the Prime Minister John Key was being interviewed by Willy Jackson for his cultural affairs program. As we were walking through each of the areas, Mr Key appeared and took the time to have a chat with the kids. Mr Raeburn took the opportunity to ask for a photo with him. As you can see we were all very excited. Mr Raeburn also mentioned to Mr Key that Mr Kaiser would be very surprised to see us having our photo taken with him.
